My mother (the former Babs Fish)
was born this day in 1923.
She does feel near today ...

Isn't cell phone use prohibited when driving
or is it permissible when circling the block, blasting music
and shouting at peaceful protestors?

Happy Birthday Little Brother (Post 9)

That time Ringo came to North East Street
in the days before Photoshop & AI

Though he towers over all the siblings, Paul W. will always be the 'little brother.' Left behind? Not a chance with this guy whose steady hand has help guide Potter County for many years!  But take a look at all on his bedside table - baseball cards, a transistor radio, a statuette of an adored baseball player (perhaps he can identify) and what looks to be a wad of chewing gum, all under the glow of a lamp crafted of cherry and maple by our grandfather - W.D. "Golly" Fish.

Post 7

I couldn't resist doing a little research about the background of "Pennsylvania's NEW Mountain Vacationland."

From October 1958 (The Potter Enterprise):

Evidently the New Mountain Vacationland "brand" lasted several years. This from 1962.

Billboard was west of Coudersport on Rt. 6

The Coudersport Jaycees took up the cause around 1966.
